Aloha no. Brown Power. I heard quite a few good things about this site, so let's give it a shot. My name is Jon Keonakana Thomas, I'm 22 years old, born in Oakland Ca and currently reside in St. George, UT. I'm of Native Hawaiian and Latino descent, I speak Hawaiian fluently. Although I have light skin, I'm technically not white. I'm just a light skinned brotha! I'm also quite involved with the Latino community in St. George, and speak Spanish fluently. I'm a Christian, have been my whole life, and plan to be for the rest of mine. I just love to kick back wit all my friends and take it easy. Sometimes I tend to get all caught up in whatever it is that I'm doing, and forget about how important it is to kick it once and a while. I get busy a lot wit different things I'm doing but I love to go out, I absolutely LOVE to dance! If you ever go to a hip-hop dance wit me, then you better be ready to hit the floor! I love Hip-Hop and Reggae those my two favorite types of music. All the rest is cool too, but nothing beat some good hip-hop and reggae baby!
I'm planning on moving back to da Bay Area soon. Utah is nice and all, but they ain't no diversity here. I love being in the Bay Area and seeing all the folk from different ethnicities and cultures. I definitely fit better in the Bay Area culture, so I'm lookin for a sista from da Bay! I'm an anti-discrimination activist with the group Southern Utahans Against Discrimination. We a new group that was created to raise awareness to intolerance and hate towards minorities, and to advocate for racial equality.
I'm a new member of da Brown Berets and La Raza council, standin up for the Latino people who are being discriminated against. We not only fight for Latinos, but all other ethnic people who are victims of racism and intolerance, especially in Utah. Brown Power!
I'm a very open-minded person, I'm very progressive and believe in positive change and growth. I accept people of all walks of life. I enjoy exploring different cultures and languages. I've grown a lot throughout my life, I'm self-confident and mature, but I also know how to have fun. I was raised to be proud and embrace my Hawaiian culture. I love meeting new people who are positive and intelligent. I enjoy having intelligent conversations with like minded people.
I'm looking for a young sista who has many similar values as I do. I'm pretty liberal so it would be best if she liberal too! I'd like a sista with confidence, who is independent, know what she wants in life, and has her priorities in check. A sista who is forward-focused and has many goals and aspirations in life. Someone who enjoys having stimulating conversation and can help me grow, as I help her grow.
