I am a passionate, well-adjusted gal who has endured and plan on keeping up the good work.
I am a retired journalist, having spent 27 years writing and editing for newspapers and magazines. This belies the fact that I was trained as a teacher of high school English and French (didn't't 't have to endure too long 'cause I hated it and left).
I also worked as a wine consultant because I love fine wines and beers (OK, and some of the swills are drinkable) lol
I am retired because I have MS - a real pain, but it ONLY affects my ability to walk fast and stand for long periods of time. In other words, I have MS - MS does NOT have me! MS is what I have - not who I am! I'm on mega-doses of vitamin D and can see a great improvement. As soon as my pharmacy can get the new "walking pill" for MS patients, I'm ready with a prescription! YAY!
UPDATE 06/11/10 - My part D has preautorized it and it will be here next week! I'm sooo excited!
I hope to meet a laid-back, funny guy who will make me laugh - a go with the flow guy who doesn't stress over the small stuff. My guy will celebrate successes with me and help me deal with disappointments. Of course, I will do the same for him.
He will be a little  in bed, but will always be my lover and my best friend.
