I'm a work in progress. I graduated from college in May. It was the single best day of my life. The world is at my fingertips and I am fully prepared to take it all for what it's worth. More importantly I am unbelievably blessed and thankful beyond words. Life doesn't frighten me at all. Man can neither free me nor bind me. I always hope to grow brighter, funnier, more well-rounded and understanding. I would like to be known as an intelligent woman, a courageous woman, a loving woman. I don't ask anyone to win my freedom or to fight my battles. I am not competing with anyone other than myself. I want to be excellent at whatever I do.
As my page says, I am a work in progress. I decided about year ago that I was going to start doing things for me. I was going to start making myself happy. I have a huge heart and I've found that it's my best asset and my biggest flaw. If I care about you, I'll do anything for you and some people take advantage of that. I've learned to know my limits with people. I know now to love/care for them but not give so much that there's nothing left for me. I'm at a point where I'm open to anything. I know what I want and what I'm comfortable with, but I'm also willing to go off the beaten path and try something new and exciting...maybe even dangerous. I'm a firm believer in the idea that in order to be good with someone else, you have to be good with yourself. I'm finally at a place where I'm good with myself. I can always be better and believe it's an everyday journey. A journey that I'm enjoying and looking for someone to enjoy it with me. I'm confident in myself and goal-oriented. As a recent college graduate I'm aware that the world is at my fingertips. I can go anywhere, do anything- be anything. The thought of that excites me and I'm constantly looking for ways to accomplish my dreams. I love God, my family and my friends. They are my world and have made me who I am. I am blessed beyond measure and despite any kind of obstacles I may be facing, I am thankful for life, health and the strength to make it through.
