About Me |
You know that guy, that you're friends with and has a great personality that you never view as someone you would date? The guy who dates one of your friends and you see how happy they are and how well he treats her? How she consistently brags about him? The guy that has his life in order and knows how it's going to go? The guy who respects women and knows how to treat them? The guy who knows what to say and when to say it? The guy who will defend you with everything he has?
3, 4, 5, 6, 10 years from now when you are single, depressed, heartbroken, and hates every guy on the planet, you will see me, with my wife, living a wonderful life stress free and full of happiness. You will sit lonely at night eating a bowl of ice cream wondering why you can't have a life like that.
Then finally, one day, you decide to go ask him how he created this life. How is he so happy? Why can't I find a guy like this? Little did you know, that back when you were 18,19,20 and was partying it up with all the bad boys, that guy was always your friend. He never judged you or betrayed you. You thought he was a guy that you could never see as a potential boyfriend/husband and that he was to boring without much excitement in his life.
You sat there and wondered, what what kind of girl would fall for him? As you were partying and wasting away those years, I was planning how my life would go. What college I would go to, my career choice, how I was going to live my life, etc... It's something that you're going to want knowing that you're life will suck down the road. You won't know it now, hell, you might not know it 10 years from now, but that guy found someone else and you blew your chance with him. Just keep some of the above things in mind when you go out to clubs and bars and always fall for the "bad boy."
Meanwhile, a guy like myself is just sitting at home drinking a beer with a few buddies. It's your choice really. Keep going after guys who have nothing to offer in life and ignore the guy that can offer you everything. I'll find my girl, the question is, will you ever find a guy like me?
