I'm a single man looking for a new partner in crime here in Southern Maine! I grew up here in Maine, but have spent the last several years bar tending at a hotel in Berlin, Germany. I've recently returned, and realized in Maine, by the time you're 30, most of your friends and social circle have either moved out of state for warmer weather, or somewhere with more job opportunities than here. As a result, I'm finding myself kind of bored? Especially during the eight months per year of a less than ideal climate here in Maine. I'm a hot weather person!
I enjoy aviation/aviation photography, International budget travel (backpacking) live music, dancing, dinning out, comedy clubs, the occasional dive bar or Irish pub for a couple beers with friends, and fishing and being outside during the warm weather months. I'm also a night person, and this was only amplified after years of working behind the bar until 7a.m. in the morning in a city that truly never sleeps.
I consider myself kind, genuine, and open minded. Trustworthy and worldly. Easy to talk to and a good conversationalist. I'm also very straight forward and don't beat around the bush. I like similar people who don't take themselves too seriously, and who enjoy life and meeting new people.
I'd like to meet somebody kind, intelligent, laid back and easy going. Somebody not afraid to let their hair down, but somebody who can also be serious when need be. Somebody who doesn't define themselves by their career and their material worth, but somebody who also has class at the same time.
For some reason, I find woman with black hair and glasses incredibly attractive. As well as woman who know how to dress like a woman and look incredibly stylish/sexy, but without looking like sorority member or a call girl. (Example... tight cut off shirt, and short skirt with a giant tramp stamp on back! Not attractive!) More of a cosmopolitan mature look who you'd want to keep, rather than somebody you'd focus on if you went out to a club looking for a one nighter. Genuinely nice people of all types are great too! People who are into flying, or budget backpacking abroad would be greatly encouraged to say hello, as well as anybody whose eye this might have caught?
