I'm in the process of rediscovering myself right now. In doing so, I'm discovering a lot about myself. I'm a Christian, yet I don't believe in organized religion. I believe strictly in a relationship with God. I'm huge into movies and music, mostly the independent stuff. I'm a writer, a singer, an actor, a filmmaker. I'm currently working on a short film and an album.
I love to read, but I don't keep track of favorites. I'm a fan of "Diary", "Wicked", and "The Princess Bride." "The Art of Looking Sideways" is one of the best books ever created.
I'm a movie buff. The 80s was one of the greatest decades for film ever, Spike Jonze is brilliant, and (500) Days of Summer was easily the best movie of the year.
Music-wise, I'm into everything. Mostly indie/alternative/folk stuff like Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Regina Spektor, Death Cab for Cutie, The Libertines, The Smiths, etc.
I can live off of Frosted Flakes. If that's gonna be a problem, then this won't work out.
I want to meet new people. I'm interested in very open-minded, spirited girls who see the world differently. Like...I don't know how to describe it really...someone who's creative. Someone who really stops to smell the roses. Who doesn't look down and see a flower, but looks down and sees beauty. Girls who care about the feelings of a flower almost as much as the feelings of a person. Girls who arentbothered by the rain because she's too busy dancing in it. A girl who's modest, but aware.
A girl who listens to music and appreciates it for everything it's worth. girl who will lie down underneath the stars and ponder and wonder. A girl who enjoys the quirky side of life. A girl who's original because that's who she is, not because indie music is "cool" or she's trying to "fit in."
I guess that's the word: quirky. Delightfully, amazingly, and lovingly quirky.
