If you don't put yourself out there nothing is going to happen. You never hear about the people who met at the Walgreens or in the parking lot of the grocery store. If you don't do the bar scene, you have to try this online dating. So here I am trying to come up with a profile of myself. I don't think anyone likes doing this part. It is so hard to try to figure out what you want to say, how to say it, and not sound like you are trying too hard. I have friends, family, and a good job. I enjoy my life but want to make it even better. I think having a good guy in my life would be an added bonus. I am easy-going and drama free. I have a good sense of humor, and am the first to laugh at myself. I like to see the best in people and situations and make no apologies for that. I pride myself on being even tempered, I just don't see any point in being mean or ugly. You really never know what someone is going through. I am not an overly sentimental girl, but dang it, sometimes those commercials for the ASPCA or Humane Society are so heartbreaking, I have to change the channel before I get out my credit card and make a donation I really can't afford. I would like to meet a guy who will challenge me and be my best friend. A guy who makes me laugh and who has the patience to explain sports to me. A guy who doesn't mind that I don't cook. Someone that will understand that I cannot ever remember to get the oil changed on my car in a timely fashion, and that I am OK with that.
