Finding true friends and finding love are rare. I do have the former, but the latter is what stings me sometimes. I'm hoping to find someone that believes, with abandon, in sharing life, love and the pursuit of dreams. Dreams aside, humor gets the gold when life could be in disarray. I need a witty joke that can put things in perspective. I'm looking for a creative mind that isn't attached to beer and happy hour, the cages of modern life.
There's always something interesting in the things we may think are mundane. There's always something to know; something to learn and pass on. To leave this world with unfulfilled answers is my only disappointment. I'm aware that no one can know everything, but just to know is thrilling.
I like all walks of life. To go barefoot in the small towns of India under the hot sun is a simple pleasure. Driving through a blizzard and watching the snow cover everything in its path takes a little piece of my heart. I saw palm trees in South Carolina, but seeing them in their natural settings like Mexico, Florida, or California makes me want to move there. I want to live where the palm trees grow in no specific artificial lines. When I travel, I hate taking the beaten path. I love taking the risk. Traveling across the state of Veracruz in Mexico, visiting the small towns, and leaving behind the souvenirs and just bringing back the memories with the snapshots of the mind, I live for things like that.
I try to learn different languages; a little bit of Spanish, German, Italian, and Hindi to pass the time and to motivate me to book a spontaneous trip to any place on the planet. I'm looking for someone to globe trot with.
I'm not religious, but religion delivers a great deal of architecture. From the cathedrals of Europe, to the ancient temples of India, I want to visit them all.
Having goals and accomplishments is very important to me. Pursuing them with an independent mind is even more important and engaging others in that pursuit is the amazing part of it all. The one I'm looking for, he should be career oriented, having composure, professionalism, sophistication and an attitude that developed far from the ego. If you're confident, witty, calm and collected, I could like you.
