Hmmm…..what to tell you about me? I’m generally a laid-back, go-with-the-flow sort of person. I’ll take jeans and a sweater over a skirt and heels any day; not that there isn’t the occasional good reason for a skirt and heels. I’ve always been pretty good at entertaining myself, but it’s nice to share life with others. I am a compulsive reader and don’t remember a time when I didn’t love to read. In fact some of my first memories involve books, and to this day it’s rare that I can be found without a book in my possession. I was seven when I got my first microscope, and I carried that thing everywhere with me. I have yet to lose that same childhood sense of wonder that the unknown always provides, and honestly hope I never do. It leads me to constantly seek out new things to learn about and that keeps life interesting. I love the ocean and am intrigued by the secrets that it holds. (How cool would it be to view its depths from a deep sea submersible?) I enjoy the outdoors and like to go hiking, camping, even fishing (though I have yet to learn how to gut a fish – I will learn one day, if only for the sake of saying I know how, I just have to get over the yuck factor first). I have a serious love affair with coffee, and no decaf doesn’t count. Most of my “favorites” (favorite food, color, etc.) vary and are generally reflective of my mood at the time. I enjoy watching sports of all sorts and desperately wish that the NW would get a hockey team. In the mean time – Go Avs!! My ideal partner would enjoy both a night on the town or out with friends as well as a night in curled up on the couch. I’m looking for someone to share all of life with – the good and the bad. I believe in chemistry between two people and want the sparks that come with it.
