Alot of people have to run around in almost a circle to come back to where they started and realize its who they are. What I am makes me very happy. I'm a student, a painter, and a single mother. All make me happy and all are important to me.
I've done the responsible society thing for so many years, so much so that I've even been a government employee for the DOD before. But that doesn't make me happy, doesn't make me smile.
I go to school so that I can finish my BA in History. Yes, history a complete snoozefest to most people but I like it. I focus on Olmec, Toltec, Mayan, Aztec. When I'm done with that I still won't be done. I plan on continuing forward and earning my masters in musuem studies. If that sounds completely boring to you and your one of those people that hates stuff like that... *shoulder shrug*
Sorry I like being geeky and nerdy. I like my books, I'll even admit to liking my science fiction. I'm one of those well rounded girls when it comes to taste. On a saturday afternoon the choice between going fishing, the car show, comic con, the musuem, hanging out, the zoo, hockey game, or a barbecue... All of the above would work... 9/10 it would probably be something you'd be interested in anyway and on that tenth time I have no qualms on using the puppy dog eyes. *laughs*
I said I was also a painter. Yes I am. When I have money for canvas I am an oil painter. I like wikipedia, the world likes wikipedia look up expressionism and you'll understand the type of paintings I do. All I need is some canvas, oil paints, my brush, gumtine&water, plus my Ipod loaded with nickelback and I'll go to town. I'm a decent artist when it comes to other mediums and styles...
I did say that I'm a single mom and I'm really happy to be one. I have a son that will be 4 this year. I don't care how much of a lady killer you think you are chances are he's got you beat!
I really need someone that knows who they are and is done goofing around. I love being silly but hitting back the bong with the boys isn't the type of guy that I'm looking for. He does need to take care of himself. When guys or girls are overweight its more than just a sign of eating choices it shows their life choices and priorities. They haven't stepped up yet and decided their worth it or important. I do want someone that I could go to the gym with run around, goof off with some basketball, or just push me. I want the type of guy that his friends look at him and say he's a pretty decent guy, the one that you want around when stuff hits the fan. I can change my own oil, tires, light bulbs, but it might be nice to have a guy that knows where my spark plugs are. I do like cars, not imports those beauties you see at the classic chassis. I want him to be nice, sincere, not lie, and I don't care about tattoos.
