Hi there! I'm never too good with these profile things.
I can be pretty shy at first, but if you get me talking I can warm up to you pretty quick. You wouldn't know that seeing me at work. I've been a cashier since high school, and it's helped me come out of my shell a little bit. I never thought I would say this, but I love working in retail. Running a register is one of the best ways to meet some of the coolest people. 
I'm a huge nerd. I love to play video games, read, watch movies/anime, and knit. I do go out on occasion with friends, but not often. I work the early morning shift and most of the nights people want to do something I can't because I work so early.
As for movies, I love fantasy and sci-fi, action/adventure and classic horror. Star Wars is the ultimate trilogy. My favorite all-time movies are between The Crow and Interview with the Vampire.
My favorite kind of music is hard rock/metal. I was raised as a rocker girl and I stay true to that. Classic rock is great, but my favorite sub-genre is industrial/goth. I also like -some- pop, techno is fun (I had a short-lived stint as a raver kid in Chicago) and my guilty pleasure is Japanese pop music. I can take country in (very) small doses.
