I am originally from upstate NY but moved to NC a little over 7 years ago because I was over dealing with the eight months of winter and snow. I work in the mental health field as a care coordinator. I am getting ready to go back to school in the fall for my masters in mental health counseling which I am both excited and nervous about. I am a very compassionate person that always tries to treat others as I want to be treated. Family and friends are very important to me and I will do anything for those that I care about. I have been told that I have a good sense of humor and tend to be a little sarcastic (lol…please have thick skin if you respond to me). I like to go out and have a good time but I am at the age that I have done my partying and am over the playing games. I have figured out what I want in life which is to be happy and eventually have a family. I have worked hard for what I have and am not afraid to keep working hard to accomplish other goals I have set for myself. I am not looking for someone that needs a mother or someone that wants to party all the time. I am not looking to jump into a relationship today but I will say that I am looking for the opportunity to get to know someone that is looking for a relationship that may go somewhere. I tend to be a little forward and at times a little loud (Hence the yankee in me) but I have to say that if you can deal with that I am a great catch!!! Update lol I do have a child and he is my world. It's a package deal so like it or lump it!!! I was working on my masters in mental health counseling and would like to finish soon.
