I am a full time student at KSU and am studying to be a councilor.I work as a cook and have for almost a decade now.Its not the best line of work,i know, but it strengthens my resolve to achieve academically.I have recently moved to Kent and have met very few people.I wouldnt say that i am shy but im defiantly not the type to just walk up to a stranger and start a conversation, which is one of the reasons why im hear i suppose, plus i find the whole bar scene moronic and nothing more than a hub for pathetic one night stands and drama.I love to laugh and make others laugh, even if that means making a total a** out of myself, which i probably would do just to see you smile.Sometimes I think bad jokes are the best, even if your the only one laughing.Even in the most crowded of surroundings my laugh can be heard radiating. Once you zero in on where its coming from it is usually accompanied my my huge goofy smile
In my free time i love to read and listen to music, any kind; i have been collecting albums for about 8 years now;i think Townes Van Zandt is as good as it gets .Running and biking are my two biggest passions in and am usually doing one or the other.I am a very outdoorsy person.In my free time i can usually be found fishing, hiking, cliff diving or reading in the park.I have also been writing vigorously since my youth.I have fiery ambition and drive which has carried me from my turbulent youth to the great position in life that i am at right now and will take me even farther in time. Im the kind of person that will do or try anything once.Before i went back to school i spent a few years traveling, i geuss it was more like rambling, and i still get the erg to go on random adventures in the middle of the night; more often than not i will. New experience and making new memories are a very important part of my life. Those are the kind of things that make difficult times much more easier to deal with.
Unfortunately i have never really had someone in my life who has thought that way. In many of my past relationships people have tried to change me to conform to some ideal person, i do not believe thats what relationships are about. To me a relationship is the unity of two souls, not just two people being together.I would really like to find someone as open minded and down to earth as i like to think i am.Someone who i can just be happy being with how they are, not how i wished they would be, and vice versa.I geuss im a hippy at heart and i believe that happiness cannot be measured my material things, but by those who surround you
