So i am finally updating my profile so that others can get an idea of who i actually am. I have been hesitant about this site, "but go big or go home" right? I grew up in Portland and headed to OSU after HS. Post College i moved to LA for a few years and have just now come back up here. I consider myself to be well educated and open minded. I am the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve, and although it gets me hurt often, i consider it a good quality to have. For many year in high school and in college i was a successful athlete. I still try to work out and be active as much as possible, hopefully in the near future time will allow me to get in the gym as much as i use to. I was highly skilled in Basketball, soccer, football, and track. However, i love playing golf, bowling, table tennis... pretty much everything.
My athletics provided me many positions working as a athletic camp director and for the city of Portland as well as Santa Monica CA running after school programs. I studied chemistry in college, however, after working in that field for 4 years, i realized i really have no interest in chemistry, life seems to have granted me the gift of success in the education industry, so i figure ill follow that path. My education at OSU and in LA has greatly improved my understanding of this world. I have many interests ranging from but not limited to - Astronomy, philosophy, history, science, sports, outdoors, geography, oceanography, chemistry, music, movies, and psychology. I try to appreciate everything i am given. I am a kid at heart, i absolutely love Disney. I applied for Aladdin in California for a broadway play, but didnt get it lol. I also love christmas, especially the music. I grew up singing and have two brothers still in LA who sing (they are way better then I). I sing very often, in the car, on the street, at work etc. I am a very analytical person, especially with music and movies. I have a very braod range of music/movies i enjoy, just as long as they are done well.
When it comes to social situations i am very open and the life of the party so to speak. I get a long with most everybody very well, and find making friends to be easier then most. However, when it comes to woman, i am quite the opposite. I am very shy around woman who i find attractive and wish to talk to. It is kind of a contradiction, but that's me. I am also a very bad speller, so if we should start communicating back and forth with emails, i apologize in advance. I also love animals. I have a bunny, but would like to get more when i have a more stable living situation.
I consider myself to be a very unique person. What makes me unique, well, we can start with my name, and the list goes on and on. Its hard to describe, so once you get to know me better, i leave that question up to you to answer. I am a very loving, warm, kind person. I try to never lie and always help others when i can. My family is from Alabama, so i was raised to always respect others, especially woman. I am the type of guy who always opens doors, pulls out chairs, and puts his coat in a puddle for his girl to walk across lol.
Well that is sort of me in a nutshell. If you would like to know more, feel free to ask. Hopefully we can chat online, or maybe even the phone if people are open enough. It doesn't really matter to me, even though i would rather speak voice to voice or in person, it doesn't bother me to do the email thing for a while.
