I am a hopeless romantic, as proof, one of my all-time favorite movies is (500) Days of Summer. I believe everything happens for a reason, and am in awe of how seemingly random things can come together so perfectly.
I just returned to school this summer to get a degree in elementary education. I already have a BSBA in Accounting but after working in the accounting field for a few years, I had had enough of the 'most boring job in the world' and wanted to do something that had a real impact on society. Helping people, especially kids, is a big part of who I am, as I've never been a person who looks out for numero uno, I am naive enough to believe I can help change the world 
I love sports, hockey especially, I'm the anti-trend kind of person, as in, whatever the majority thinks or follows, I, usually, go the other way. Hence, my love of hockey, soccer, indie music, Arrested Development and dislike for any vampire garbage or Nickelback.
I love classic video game characters and the games that involve them, hence I like Mario games, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Sonic. The only real modern games I play are the various versions of Rock Band. As stated above, I love the TV show 'Arrested Development' and also 'The Office'.
I'd like to find someone who has some similar interests to me, but not all the same interests, because I don't want to date myself, that'd be weird! One thing, I do have a hard time spending time around people who like country music, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me, and I'm not going to tell a person they "can't" listen to it around me, so its better if I just avoid serious relationships with said people. That's pretty much my only requirement,
