| About Me |
1. My hobbies in the summer are mainly spending time on the river with the fam and going to concerts, festivals, all the fun summer time festivities. In the winter I am kind of a hibernator, not a big fan of the snow other than sledding, snow skiing and ice fishing a couple times during the winter.
2. I recently graduated with a degree in interior design and I finally got a job in Madison. I just got an apartment on the East side.I am originally from SW Wisconsin and I am enjoying being closer to family and friends.
3. What makes me unique physically is that I have really cool natural auburn colored hair that everyone tells me that they want, and I am also a blue eyed "red-head" instead of the more common green eyes. I am sometimes reserved at first but once I am comfortable with you I am really outgoing and I have been told I am a smart a** and I'm kind of bossy when the situation requires it, but I do whatever I need to do to get the job done. I am a dressy girl, my job requires me to look nice and I just enjoy wearing dresses and heels. I would very much enjoy having a reason to wear a gown maybe once or twice a year. Although I am not afraid to get dirty when it's time to have some fun. I spend the majority of my summer on the weekends on the river in a swim suit and in the sand and there is nowhere else in the world I'd rather be.
What makes me unique as far as my personality goes is that I am still a hopeless romantic. I believe in the happy ever after. I beleive that a man should still be a man. It makes me really sad to see the caliber of men that our generation has bred. I come from a family where all of the women are strong and capable of doing most anything on their own, but their husbands still treat them like their "queens" and take care of them and make them feel loved every single day. Call me crazy but I would like to think that men like that still exist somewhere out there. My parents are high school sweethearts and have been married for 25 years and they are still, sometimes sickeningly, in love. I can only hope to have a marriage like their's someday.
4. My taste in music is 100% country when I am by myself. When I am out with friends I dance to "dance music"/rap/hip hop but wouldn't really listen to it in my car. I wish there were more country bars around here.  I will absolutely not listen to heavy metal or angry screaming music and will not date someone who has that taste in music. I have been there, done that and it is a huge deal to me b/c it has caused alot of tension in the past. I love dancing and I would really enjoy dating a guy who actually knows how to dance. I danced for 11 years. Ballet, tap, jazz etc.
As you might have been able to tell from my interests. I feel that I am a pretty multi-faceted person. I can put on some boots and hop on a horse, camp on the beach, have a good time on the river, and enjoy my small town roots. But at the same time I can shine up, put on a skirt and heels and command a board room, and then slip into a gown and fur coat and go to a fancy dinner and ballet. I am a small town girl looking forward to having a fabulous life in the city. Care to join me?
