When it comes to me, I think I am a pretty complex person that has interests all over the place! But at the same time, I'm pretty simple as well. I work hard and I like to relax and enjoy life! I enjoy doing things like watching movies, listening to music, playing music, being with my friends, learning more about things that I am passionate about, I love Adult Swim cartoons, and on occasion playing video games. I don't let any of these completely consume my life, they're all just things to pass time and to experience different things.
My family is very important to me, even if I don't spend nearly as much time with them as I would like. I have a son who is almost a year old and he is without a doubt the best thing I have in my life! He doesn't live with me but I try to spend as much time with him as I can. He is a very smart little boy and it makes me so proud to watch him figure things out on his own when he gets frustrated.
Music is a big part of my life. I have been playing bass for almost 10 years and I listen to all kinds of different things! I like alternative, progressive rock, grunge, punk, metal, etc. I don't go for screaming these days, but I really appreciate good musicians and being blown away by something new. A few examples of what I like to listen to would be Genesis, Soundgarden, Black Flag, Coheed and Cambria, Deftones, Rush, Face to Face, Goldfinger, and so on and so on!
I have been on my own for about 7 years now, I have never been unemployed during that time, and I have gone to college full time while working full time. I have an Associates degree in Computer Networking Systems and hope to have a career in it someday. The bottom line of all of that is this, I have always done the best I can to take care of myself and do what I need to do. I expect the same out of anyone else to do the very best they can for themselves as well!
I would love to meet somebody who enjoys the little things like I do, has a great sense of humor, but knows where to draw the line. My favorite qualities in people are being able to have good conversation and honesty! In a girl I love a quick wit and someone who can make me laugh and surprise me! That is what I try to do on my end with people every single day.
I think my best qualities are the fact that I love to make people laugh and that I am very honest and straightforward. If somebody asks me a question about myself, I don't see the point in hiding from that. There is a lot to who I am and I may not be proud of everything I have ever done, but I AM proud of what I have learned from them.
