I'M a 28 year old male, with a bachelors degree in 2ndary education I just recently moved out of my parent's house and down to martinsville Virginia and am splitting an apartment with my good friend down their while i seek employment. In the meantime I'm playing alot of poker the income from which is tiding me ovetr till i can find traditional work and build a bankroll so i can move to Vegas and attempt to play poker as a full time career. .
I am a nondrinker and not a smoker and would prefer the same in anyone i date although moderate alcohol usage or smoking isn't necessarily a deal-breaker.
I have a strong outgoing personality and usually have a big smile and will be the first one to sing horribly off key on karaoke night weather laughing with me or at me as long as your laughing i'm happy! I also have a serious side and can debate politics religion or the latest sports news with the best of them.
I get along with kids and have a 10 year old sister who i was very involved wit before moving, and i miss her.. Kids usually view me as a big trampoline which is cool (until they reach 65 pounds or so) then it becomes painful) that being said i ideally see myself in a big brother/unkle type role and DO NOT ill say it again DO NOT want kids of my own now or anytime in the future!!!!!!!
some things i look for in a girl include
1. Honesty i am brutally honest and expect the same from my friends, sometimes that means we are gonna disagree venomously but at least we will know where we stand.
2. Self-confidence- I Have no problem being the lone decenter in a room full of people, and will often make an offhand comment observation with complete strangers just to create debate on an issue i feel is understated relevant or just entertaining. I don't want a gal who would be embarrassed being associated with the loudest one in most rooms, if the gal is just as outspoken or more so than me that def would be a plus!!
3. Independence- While their are benefits to being in a relationship I am fine being on my own and want a gal who is the same, if our relationship comes to an end at some point (as the vast majority do) i don't want the gal to view it as the end of the world I get being a little upset if a good thing ends but life went on before me it will go on after.
4. Healthy sexual appetite- I hesitate to put this on the list because some of uall will read PIG/Typical horndog, but like i said in number one i have no problem being honest. I'm not saying i want a girl who is easy or gives it up to just anyone, however if we develop a relationship i would like it to be with someone who enjoys the physical aspect and is open, willing, eager, and a bit adventurous in exploring this to explore that aspect with me.
5. Similar interests- we don't have to have everything in common but a few common threads would be useful. As i mentioned Texas holdem poker is problem my greatest interest outside of my 10 year old sister who i am very involved with. Other interests include NASCAR Fishing Camping, football (i played from the time i was 8 though sophomore year at college.) wrestling (4 years varsity back in HS)
Once we get to know each other a bit trips down to Atlantic City would be alot of fun ) and i'm dieing to go back to Vegas again! open to other non casino travel destinations as well!
