I do not like how reductive the following might sound, but here I am, albeit in binary code........
I have always believed that art museums, tree houses, and libraries are the most sacred places on Earth. I'm an Ivy League honors graduate looking for someone who isn't intimidated by intelligence, and who likes to engage in what I've termed "intellectual intercourse": life's best aphrodisiac.Don't be too impressed, now, I still need a GPS to find my way to the bathroom every morning The most useful, though not the *only* thing I learned at Harvard was how to parallel park I'm hard-working, artistic, bilingual, and seek someone who is great at what he does and loves it even more: someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of others. I'm a closeted physicist and tutor college physics to keep a leg, or neuron, in it Yes, my 3 favorite equations are painted, in integral form (naturally) and hang as a triptych on my living room wall. I am a prolific, published writer. I have 4 in the works I'll talk your head off about if you let me. WARNING: anyone or anything is potential fodder for my typically memoir/non-fiction writings. I was a collegiate athlete and love to train. Yes, I'm still the shortest and lightest woman to have ever won both Ivy League and NCAA division I National Championships in Varsity Women's Crew (no, not kayaking or canoeing, *totally* different! I have the cutest little puppy named Sir Ebenezer, or "Ebby" for short. I am a true cosmopolite: at home in the world. I've lived abroad in Iberia, Latin America, and the UK. I have lived in Providence, RI for my undergraduate studies at Brown, and Cambridge, MA for graduate school at Harvard. Don't be impressed. I might be able to design mathematical models of neurons using differential equations to attenuate the conductance of axonal action potentials in a squid, but I can't make a grocery list or find my way to the bathroom every morning without a GPS. As a professional degree collector, I'm teaching now and working at the hospital, but am a doctoral student yet again! Academia is my homeland. I'm looking for someone with an appreciation for art, music, and other creative processes. I love to make films, work with charcoal, and most any other medium I can get my hands on. I'm looking for someone who makes me laugh, loves my humor, and who can appreciate life's endearing nuances in the mundane. I seek a friend, a companion, and a co-witness to a beautiful life.
