Well... My name is Sharen and I just moved to Gainesville, from Miami, and am hoping to be admitted into the nursing program at either UF or Santa Fe for the fall semester. I know all of two people in Gainesville, and clubs are not my thing... Im kinda over the idea of going to a bar or party EVERY NIGHT, (though I do enjoy both on occasion), and thus I don't really know where else to meet new people.
I'm a happy person, and even though I plan for the future, I try to live life day by day. I'm very outgoing and I like doing things outdoors, but somehow I never seem to befriend people whose lives permit doing outdoor things on a regular basis. For example, I LOVE being out on boats, but no one I know owns one. Go figure, right? lol.
I dress "girly" I guess and one of my favorite colors happens to be pink, but I'm a tomboy at heart. When I was little and playing over at a friend's house, you usually could find me making stuff with legos FOR the barbies that my friends were playing with, instead of actually playing WITH the dolls myself. Spiders, lizards, frogs, snakes... Etc... Don't scare me... And I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. 
I love being active and doing stuff, even if I don't "work out". I'm always on the go, and sleep on average 4 hours a night, which makes good practice for my future nursing career. (though, not knowing very many people here... I've been on the go much less lately)
I love to laugh, even if it is at my own expense (which it usually is... Lol) I'm mature for my age, and responsible, but I do silly and random things all the time. Like the time I stole one of those new, all plastic, target shopping carts, and turned it into a chair!!! No, really... It's sitting in my living room as we speak! Or maybe the time when I bought my friend a small gift for his birthday, tied a rope to it, then proceeded to wrap it in alternating layers of cement and duct tape... Handed it to him with a hammer and a chisel.  Oooo... And this one is good!... This one time, I was at a coney island, and as I was entering the restaurant, Dr. Kevorkian (I KNOW, RIGHT!?), was leaving and I held the door open for him and ALMOST reached to grab his butt. Hahaha!!! It just would have been hard to try and explain that one, incase he called the cops... But it would have been EPIC! Who else do you know has ever had their first instict be to grab a famous person's butt?!
Ummm... I'm a loving and caring person. I go to the ends of the world for the people I love, and am more willing than not, to help perfect strangers. I love and trust everyone too easily (usually to my own detriment) and I also tend to put other people's needs before my own (also to my own detriment)... But I'm working on that... At least taking care of myself more.
I guess I have a too idealist of a view on love and humanism for my realist view of the world... If that makes any sense.
I guess that is good for now? Lol...
FUN FACTS!!!
1) I don't like strawberries, or any kind of pies with cooked fruit.
2) My puppy Boo (well, she's 3... But all dogs are puppies to me) is my baby girl! I love her like a child!
3) I love salsa, and pretty much anything tomato based, but I don't like raw tomatoes.
4) COFFEE IS A VICE!!! I LOVE IT!!!
5) One of my favorite things to do is grill out and have a few beers with friends... Maybe you can help with this since Im challenged when it comes to keeping a charcoal grill going... Plus, I don't have anyone to grill out with in Gainesville.
6) I probably drive too fast, but I have this uncanny ability to be able to spot unmarked cops... And so I've never gotten a speeding ticket.
7) TRUCKS ARE SEXY!!!! I want one someday, or at least a guy who has one.
8) I have more guy friends than girls, simply because they carry less drama with them.... And girls are too complicated and b*tchy. Lol
