Hello. I'm single....well, now I am...divorced for over a year (2/14) and separated for a few years before that. No children. I'm 6 ft, 180ish, work out 3-4 times a week. I'm extremely sarcastic, and I love to laugh and joke around. I value wit, sarcasm and the ability to not take oneself too seriously, as I try to do the same.
I lived in Jacksonville, Fl. for the majority of my life, but left for Colorado for a year or so after the divorce. Nothing like it really. It opened my eyes to the beauty of the mountains, as well as living in the country....or at least away from the heart of the city, and that definitely appeals to me now.
I'm an animal person by nature, and don't hunt. There's not a whole lot like being up on the mountain at sunrise, feeding the deer and watching the fox play. I'm not sure why animals always come around me no matter where I am, but I do enjoy it. It may possibly be the beard. Ha...speaking of that, I do have a beard and shaving it is non negotiable at this time, although I do have pics without it if you wish to see.
I don't drink much anymore. And by not much I mean *maybe* a few (<3) times a year on special occasions, etc. That being said, I don't mind someone that does drink some, as long as it's not problematic. If you always need it to have a good time, or it's an integral part of your life, we won't be a good match.
From the looks of things here, I suppose I need to say that I have my own truck, money and place to live...so I did, and I do.
I recently (5/15) moved to N. Georgia to be closer to my family, who have been there the last 5+ years. Since I have no kids or anything else keeping me in Jax, I've decided to move there to start a new chapter. I'm no stranger to S. Georgia, as my dad's family is all over Alma, Waycross & Blackshear. N. Georgia is a little less traveled for me, but I definitely like being closer to the mountains and having more of a winter. Hopefully that'll offset Atlanta traffic (and McDonough grrrr!!!).
What I'm looking for is to meet someone that is as attracted to me as I am to her, and actually go do fun things....better known as 'dating'. My ultimate goal is a long term relationship....so I am very open to it if something more were to come out of dating. I'm not looking for perfection, just perfect for me.
I'm not sure what kind of rude messages are sent here by some, but things like that are not what I'm here for.
