I was told that I am genuine, humorous, caring, and intelligent. And, I am looking for the same traits in a man, more or less, for a long-term relationship.
***Genuine and natural, that's usually the first impression that I gave to my dates or friends.
***I was once suggested by friends to run a talk show. If you like to sit tight and appear seriously decent all the time, you'd better avoid me. I'd like to have conversations with both fun and content. You would not see much humor out of this profile, though, as I take this writing very serious.
***my "caring" nature is not the typical type that you can think of, if you grew up in this culture. If this is too much for you, then I am not your type: in a relationship, I usually put him before me on the priority list. For example, I am more than happy to prepare dinner and lunch box for him, even if I am busy (well, deadline times excluded); when he is sick (I certainly hope he is healthy all the time), I will check if he is OK at night for many times and will serve him with whatever I think he needs even before he asks for it.
I sincerely enjoy taking care of people. I think this does not conflict with "be yourself" which is required by most of men. I can still be myself while I care about my partner......
I have summarized the factors influencing women's happiness the most as:
(1) beauty: positively associated with happiness;
(2) luck: positively associated with happiness;
(3) intelligence: negatively associated with happiness.
In short, beautiful and lucky women who don't think much and are thus dependent tend to be happier. It seems I am not at a relaxing position: a common looking and a highly-occupied brain, plus an average-level luck......Yet, I AM STILL A HAPPY PERSON. I know I could be much happier if I have the Mr. Right to share things with. That's why I am here.
My favorite books, movies, and food
Books:
*Why Men Love B*tches (This is not the real "b*tch". Instead, it just means a "bad" woman): it's funny and sad to find what I have done in all the previous relationships was almost completely opposite to what a "b*tch" would do (for example, I never played a "hard-to-get" trick if I liked the man while a "b*tch" would play it all the time). No wonder I am still searching......but after all, I still value sincere and authentic natures......
Movies:
*Journey to the Edge of the Universe: makes me feel so tiny in the universe; quite impressive;
*The Shawshank Redemption: it's so hard to keep a dream and really do something to make the dream come true when all the other person would see absolutely no hope out of it, but Andy made it.
Food:
Anything spicy or Asian/European style. I like to DIY my own recipes. There is a joke about Chinese people's diet habbit:"They eat everything with four legs----except tables and chairs; they eat everything flying----except planes." This is soooo EXAGGERATED!!! I definitely won't touch anything disgusting, but I am open to different recipes and willing to try them one after one, if I have enough free time.
Sports/Exercises:
I was not born as good at exercises. Recent years, I realized to have a "sustainable development" I needed to do something. I started to do Pilates and jogging. They turned out to work well on me. At least I enjoy them now. Far from being a professional fan, I still love to yell with friends in stadium or in front of TV for whatever games (soccer preferred),
Sorry for ending this introduction with a LONG "must have" list. You should understand that I have to be more serious than I actually am to specify the following important conditions, just to avoid
unnecessary future misunderstanding.
You are:
(1) sure I could meet your religious requirements (I am not religious now and there is a possibility that I am religious in some way in the future);
(2) ready for a stable relationship and have time for it;
(3) responsible for yourself and for your future family;
(4) always able to see a big picture, a problem solver;
(5) loyal, honest, caring, patient, and genuinely nice;
(6) risk-averse but not over-stressed;
(7) willing to accept the fact that the two may not be a perfect match at the start, and willing to have completely open conversations with your partner about problems when the problems occur for mutually-accepted solutions to avoid the accumulation of misunderstanding (rather than hide/lie/switch the focus/escape until the problems turn severe);
(8) logical, reasonable, intelligent, concentrated, working hard and at least a bit ambitious;
And you:
(9) like what you do; in the meanwhile, you know how to enjoy the life;
(10) value family life, appreciating what is given and loving kids;
(11) don't require "too much" personal space.
