My name is Marshall and I am a 23 year old dad to two boys. I say I am a "dad" because I firmly believe that dad has a far greater meaning then father. Simply look at a birth certificate, it says "Father's Name..." how many "fathers" sign that line and never take care of their children? That is why I am a "dad". I take care of and support my two sons and they mean everything to me. If you can't handle me having kids, then there's no point in messaging me any further.
I am separated from my ex wife, no we are not divorced yet. I know this causes discomfort in many women because they fear getting close to someone who may throw them down. I assure you that things between me and her are over, and we are in pursuit of divorce. BTW, there is no drama in our separation. We are very civil, and have no problems between each other. Sometimes relationships just don't work out...that's reality. So if you pass me up because I'm not technically "Divorced", it's your loss.
I grew up and was raised on morals, and I do my best to live by them. I know many men say, "I will treat you with the respect you deserve," but the difference between me and them is that I can prove it. I was raised to respect and honor the person that I love, to be faithful to and to cherish them. All I ask is the same in return.
I love music and tattoos/piercings. I mostly listen to hard rock, but do listen to country on occasion. I have six tattoos, all with their own personal meaning. I used to have piercings, but had to remove them all for my job.
I work full time and am the team leader for the department of which I work. I have worked hard to get where I am at and I have the potential for so much more. I have my own house, my own vehicle, and I pay my own bills.
I love to build things as I am a very hands on person. I constantly have some kind of project going on. My longest running project is my 1975 Ford Mustang that is a ground up restoration project. I enjoy sports, doing out door activities like camping, fishing, taking the kids to the park, sitting under the stars on a warm night. I enjoy going out on the town for some bowling, maybe a few beers (no I'm not an excessive drinker, but I do like a little every once in awhile), I like movies but I hate going to the movies, I'd much rather be at the drive in sitting in the back of the truck. There's nothing like watching a movie while sitting with each other under the stars. I'm also willing to try new things, and actually enjoy doing so.
The only thing I do not like is being labeled. Yes, I grew up in the country. No, I am not a redneck. Do not judge me just because I wear what ever is comfortable, because honestly I can wear wranglers and boots one day, and loose fitting jeans with shoes the next. I'm not a poser, or pretend to be someone I'm not. I don't dress a certain way to make you like me, I only wear what's comfortable to me at that moment in time. I want people to know me by my personality, not by my image. That's why I don't have one and hate labels. If you must label me, simply use the label Marshall
Despite the way this sounds, I am a fun loving person who rarely is serious unless I have to be. I am a very sarcastic person that has both a dry sense of humor and can also be corny at times, lol. I do not want someone to fill a void in my life, for I am honest to myself there for I am happy with who I am. I want someone who can compliment my life. I just seem serious in this because I am tired of being the one that builds everyone up when their down, and then forgotten when their up.
