I'm 58, single, married once, 2 kids none at home, 5' 10", 200lbs, medium build, brown eyes wear glasses sometimes, a full head of graying brown hair, clean shaven most of the time. I am a light smoker, have a drink occasionally and have always been STD free. No tattoos or piercings either.
Having been a big outdoorsman, I've enjoyed whitewater rafting, dayhikes under ten miles, swimming, camping - especially on the ocean beaches, offroad exploring, and done a great deal of travel. By car, I've traveled in several states. My favorite places to [travel] are the American southwest and British Columbia tho I long to travel to Central America, Peru, Greece, Egypt, Italy and Turkey.
My rafting adventures have been on the rivers in the NW tri-state area always looking for new adventures but without a high risk. No sky-diving for me, thank-you very much. An activity I take great pleasure in is taking my truck up logging roads to see new vistas not usually seen by the public.
Most of my hiking has been done near Snoqualmie Pass and the west coast beaches and Olympic Nat'l Park. As active as this may all sound, I also enjoy the usual things - movies, eating out, my friends and family, playing games, museums and so on....
Some of my sedentary activities are reading books on ancient history, archeology, paleontology and astronomy. I tend to be apolitical but am generally a Democrat. Oh yes, I'm a dog person
The type of woman who interests me is between the ages of 40 and 59, is active outdoors but also has a mind and uses it. Income does not matter to me but having own transportation is a plus. Having no kids or one or two older children is fine with me. No heavy drinkers and no heavy drug users or if you have extensive piercings.
