Honestly, what’s the point of this part? I don’t think girls actually read this area. You just look at my pics and 1) disqualify me if you don’t think I am cute or 2) you read what I wrote and return my message only *after* viewing my pics to see if I am cute enough.
This is why guys generally don’t put in the effort online because it goes unrewarded. Yea I could talk about how I am in shape and I’m smart and I want a family and I like pets, and I’m entrepreneurial. I could get into all the ways you would be lucky to have a guy like me…but you don’t care about any of that. You just care about what the pics are.
Actually, this was all just a test to see if you read up to this part. Now for the real part:
- My kids, who are 2 and 4 1/2. My daughter is going to be a Disney Princess one day she says. My son loves Mighty Machines and anything with wheels.
- I love music. Been playing since I was 13 and I am still learning. There is always a new adventure waiting in a new chord or melody. I think the Beatles are my favorite band of all time. I really enjoying analyzing music and figuring out how it works. Song structure and the like. Breaking it down and then getting it down I say. Then you become one with the tune when you play it.
- Favorite Bands: Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Cream, The Who, Early blues and rock, Jazz, Elvis, 80's, 90's alternative, punk, new wave. If it has a guitar I probably like it.
- Romance. Yes....I went there. I have a passion for being hopelessly romantic. Walks, holding hands, talking until dawn.
- I think movies are what define a generation in a lot of ways. Favorite films: Star Wars Trilogy (original), Comedies....especially slap stick...Dinner for Schmucks; Big Trouble in Little China, Slap Shot (old school hockey film); Indiana Jones;
- Proud US Navy Sailor until the day I die. Submariners...we do it deeper!
- Favorite Car is a Ford Mustang. On my 3rd one now, 2000 GT. I know I know....it's not as beefy as a Camaro, but screw it....they purr baby.
- My two dogs, Gwen and Austin.....they got close once....and out popped a liter of 8 pups...sadly two did not make it. Poor things. They rest all went to great homes and we are all very happy and proud of them.
- Online Dating is so awesome!
- Love running....in circles. Nah, just straight lines. My iPod comes in handy there. Hitting the gym isn't bad too.
- I think I want to be in a band again, but not get too involved in "trying to make it". I just want to play with other musicians. Enjoy the fun that is music and not get focused on the BS that some bands try to do.
- Bought this new juicer machine, which has sort of changed my entire outlook on what I put into my body. It really works wonders on trimming down. Changing my habits is the key to staying fit, and it's now or never. I want to be around to see my kids get married and have kids.
My ideal woman would have to put up with my goofiness a lot. I am sorry, but I have the tendency to be a smart a** too often in social situations. At home I can be very relaxed and chilled out. I prefer to take in a good movie or show on TV and just sit there and enjoy.
So I have a career, some call it a job. I don't cure cancer or negotiate billion dollar trade deals (would I be here if I did?...probably not). It is not bad though, so I keep doing it. There are worse jobs out there, so I feel very fortunate. I like waking up and knowing I can enjoy my work.
Just making my way in the universe now and having fun along the way.
