[i]Why am I on here? I know what I want and I've never been one to settle for less, so until I find it, I'll continue to look. I work and go to school full time as a Nursing student, while volunteering with 2 non profit organizations, a music magazine and attempting to maintain a healthy social life so ... I'm a little busy and have been unimpressed with the caliber of guys I've been meeting lately, so I figured why not break the trend.[/i]
The way straight to my heart is through music, art, intelligence, sarcasm, TRUST and passion. I choose to live every day like it is my last, not because it seems to be the latest trend, but because I don’t want to ever look back and wish I had went through with something that I sat out on or wish that I had said those words that I once held back.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, as it is literally tattooed there, and more so in a figurative sense. I put my all into everything that I do. I’m almost always smiling and it is near impossible to not make me laugh. My music is always way too loud and most of the time I'm singing/screaming right along.
I know exactly who I am and where I want to be.
I completely believe in karma, what you give is what you get returned.
I love to travel. I've been to about 7 countries, and plan to visit many more. I love seeing the way things are outside of my own box, and getting a new outlook on what it means to live.
I can't whistle.
I notice and remember the little things that people do and say and I hold them close to my heart. Good conversations are extremely important; confidence, proper grammar, honesty, passion and being able to make me laugh are huge too. I'd choose coffee and a good conversation over a beer and a bar 10 times out of 10.
I live life in the fast lane, but appreciate the simplicities and nights spent doing absolutely nothing. I want to make a difference with my life beyond the impact of simply living. I once had the privilege of being told "you saved my life" and it has taught me to never take a single day for granted and that no matter what you [i]think[/i], the things you say and do have an immense impact on others - so speak wisely, and do good things.
I have the words "[i]Follow Your Bliss[/i]" tattooed on my ribcage, as it is what some people might consider my "religion" and how I choose to live my life. The Power of Myth by Joseph Campbell inspired it; I highly recommend the read.
oh, and I'm generally quite the sarcastic smartass, but I like to call it wit. If you can't appreciate occasional "dry" humor, chances are we won't get along.
I'm not on here to boost my ego or yours, or to find someone to hookup with, or to hear about how many shots you took at the club last night, or how much you like my boobs, so if that's the point you're at in your life, I'm not your girl, so please keep looking.
I'm here to, in the very least, meet some genuine, good hearted people and if something deeper can stem from that, even better.
