My name is Diego I'm 25 yrs old. I just recenlty got out of the Military this past summer after doing 4 years and deploying to Afghanistan for 2011. I have no brothers or sisters in my family. I moved back home to go back to school for automotive. I work part time at a restaurant to get back to being around people and working with them. I enjoyed being in the Army. It definitely taught me a lot about how I am as a person and taught me a lot of key things of how to be a person. It made me very independant and driven and motivated as a person. I like to have fun with friends and family. I know when to be serious and to handle situations. I've been through a lot in my early childhood and early teens to make me into who I am today. But I would just like to for someone to ge to know me for me and not judge a book by its cover. I have a lot to offer to the right person if you have the patience. I am not a person who likes to rush into things or not think before I act. I did that when I was younger but after going thru what I've gone thru, I stop to look at the big picture and then make a move. I would say that I was raised the old fashion way with my folks. I know people hear that a lot but I know I do nice things just because thats what I would expect someone to do for me and not look at me for something in return because they did a favor for me. I would say I'am outgoing and never scared to embarrass myself in public espeically with friends and family. I like to make people laugh and be in a good mood.
But I would just have to say to whomever reads this, message me and talk with me. I like someone whom I can have a conversation with and not one where its the same questions back and forth. I'm the guy that will open your door, say thank you or your welcome, and I wouldn't ask for anything. It's just how I've been raised to is to just do things cause you know its right and you shouldn't ask for something in return cause you did a nice thing for someone.
Qualities in Me
1. Humor like to be funny and make people laugh, you have to have humor in your life, can't just be crabby all the time
2. Good listener. I'm the type where you can vent to me as much as you want and I'll just listen to what you have to say without hesistating
3. Motivated in what I want out of life, I've lived my life by knowing what I want out of it. Haven't settled for anything less
4. Caring, Definitely one of the people whom you won't find who has the biggest heart to give to someone who is that perfect fit
5. Don't accept failure, definitely willing to battle out anything that stands in the way of making things work, don't like to back down from much but I know when to pick my battles.
6. I can be serious when I have to be. I know how to handle a situation and to have a clear head when dealing with issues or problems that come up.
