What makes me unique... Most people are either the technical type or the creative type. I live in both worlds. I'm just as comfortable fixing a washing machine or furnace as I am making 30 quarts of tomato sauce from the produce out of my garden or creating a new style of beer and promptly naming it after my cat. My tastes in music, movies, and styles of food are about as diverse as the shuffle feature on Pandora. Sometimes it's B.B. King, other times its Slayer, Hank Williams the 3rd or Frank Zappa. I am a very open minded individual that is always willing to listen to other points of view, but am generally influenced more by logical thoughts rather than emotional ones.
What I'm looking for... I don't have a set “type”, as a general rule I don't date women more than 10 years older or younger than I am. I stay in pretty good shape because my job requires me to, but don't give a damn about working out and eat bacon and eggs for breakfast most of the time. Generally I get along best with women that are the active type, but that mostly has to do with the fact that I'm an active type. I place a very high value on the traits make a good person, rather than physical attributes or fancy cars and “bling”. No offense to anyone, but if your the type of person that judges others by the number of zeroes in their bank account, stop wasting your time reading this profile.
Alcoholism and brewing... Equating alcoholism and brewing is like equating gardening and obesity. The level of skill, dedication, creativity and hard work required makes either hobby incompatible with sloth and or addiction. I personally have a dislike of drug addicts of any variety to the point that it is one of my few absolute deal breakers. Although I have no problem with drinkers and or pot smokers (within reason).
No children... I spent a lot of time in my younger days living the wild life, running around raising Hell with biker bands, setting up sound systems, pyro and doing all variety of “interesting” things. When I pulled my head out of my a** and turned my talents to good uses, I saw that the great majority of my friends were absolutely miserable, dead broke and half of them divorced or on their way to being divorced. This wasn’t and isn't a life I desire. I have no issue with women that have kids, just as long as its understood right from the get go that insta-dad isn't the life for me, and at this point in my life having kids is not on my agenda. I hope I have answered the great majority of questions you may have, but feel free to ask about anything you may feel is relevant.
