Does anybody really like writing about themselves? I'm generally a positive person trying to move through life by attaining small personal goals, one at a time. I'll always be a work in progress.
Will be receiving my Bachelor's in Biology this January! For now I'm a pharmacy technician at a federal prison, a shmancy federal job OOooooOOoooo. I've been a tech for about 5 years now, nothing I want to do for the rest of my life, but it's been kind to me so far. The future? Currently looking into pre-reqs I'd have to take to apply for the Pharm D program at MCPHS Worcester. Another alternative is a federal job that pertains to my biology degree, wildlife and fisheries is a good bet!
I very much enjoy the outdoors. I go hiking whenever I can, serious hikes, giant 10 mile over 5 hour kind of hikes. There's nothing like facing the physical and mental test presented by a very steep lump of earth. Great source of exercise, adventure, pride and what a fine opportunity to meditate on life's problems. Other fun outdoor activities involve biking, kayaking, jogging, camping and signing up for obstacle mud races!
Music is very important in my life. I'm usually listening to metal that most people do not appreciate, but that's okay. To each their own. Besides that I also enjoy jazz and fall asleep to it every night. Other listening pleasures include NPR (WBUR and WBGH of which I'm a sustainer, your welcome!) and audiobooks! I can never seem to set aside the time to read, so I hit audiobooks on my longer drives to hiking adventures and such. Currently working through the Dark Tower series by Stephen King.
