My name is Elizabeth, but my friends all call me Lizz. I am 25 and I’m a pretty cool chick, once you get to know me. I am shy at first but am very open minded.
I just moved into my own apartment, in Mechanicsburg. I love it! I enjoy walking around town, looking at all the old buildings. I like to cook and my hobbies are writing, painting and when I can find a good book, I like to read.
I’m looking for someone who wants to TAKE ME out. I have always been the kind of girl to pay, I can take care of my own; but, it would be nice to go out with a guy who takes pride in himself and who appreciates the girl he chooses to go out with.
I appreciate a guy who likes to stay in and chill (I’m a pretty good cook), as well as go out to the movies or for a drink. I’m not interested in partying. Don’t get me wrong I like to go out and have fun but just not every day of the week!
I’m a thrifty girl; I have very good taste but I pride myself on not spending a lot. I enjoy simple things, and I am not materialistic. I am impressed with gentleness and patience! Opening the door for me and holding hands are simple yet very meaningful gestures.
Family is important to me. My dad is leaving for Afghanistan in the beginning of February. It’s not the first time he’s been overseas so it’s not a big deal, but when he comes home to visit, that is my priority. My mom and stepdad live 3 hours away and I like to see them every other month. Otherwise I don’t have any family in the area. Even though I don’t have a big family and they’re spread out…they’re my people and I love them!
I have never been on a dating site before so I am taking a chance and hoping to find a guy who is interested in me AND my personality!
