I believe that sometimes things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they are right and sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can fall together. I love to love, and my integrity means the world to me!!! As far as my attitude toward love I guess I would best describe myself as a “realist with a touch of hopeless romantic”. I believe soul mates are made, not born and that the best kind of love grows out of a strong friendship.
I enjoy so many activities it would be difficult to list them all off the top of my head. I really enjoy the simple things in life like helping the kids make a really cool sand castle, going for a long walk on the beach, star gazing, long bike rides, taking a nature walk up the mountain, camping with family/friends and hanging out around the campfire. I love lazy days at the beach & quiet nights at home. I enjoy hanging out with good friends and listening to music. I have a passion for traveling and exploring. I am always ready for an adventure.
I enjoy taking pictures. My favorite pictures are of my children, of course. Family and Friends mean the world to me and the sound of my children’s laughter is my favorite sound in the whole world!! My favorite color is Kermit the frog green, my favorite flower is a dandelion cuz it's the first one every lil kid picks (and yes, I know it's a weed) & my favorite song is -Mary Jane’s last dance by Tom Petty.
As far as relationships I’m looking for a relationship to complement my life, not to fulfill or “complete” it. I would like to meet a man who’s ready to be in a relationship, between 33-65 years old an older man that really knows how to treat a lady!! A man that confident, not conceded, tender yet assertive, can stand toe to toe with me, yet never need to and will absolutely cherish my ambition!! make sense?!?!
I’m looking for someone who can express affection through simple or grand acts of kindness-such as helping me out around the house, running errands for me or doing favors without being asked. I need someone who desires and reciprocates intimacy as much as I do, but who helps keep dependency in check in the relationship so that the two of us do not lose our identities as individuals. When I feel close to someone this person becomes an extremely important part of who I am on the inside and outside.
I need someone who is not looking to be taken care of but rather who is realistic about the hard work it takes to build and maintain a stable and satisfying relationship. Those who know me well would describe me as patient and eager to listen to others. I’m not afraid of making or admitting to mistakes. I like to take charge and go after what I want in life and in relationships. I enjoy being active, staying fit, feeling well, and just being healthy and need a man that is also in good mental and physical health. This ideal man should also have a healthy sex drive and be able to perform well in bed.
In order for me to be emotionally happy in a relationship I need to feel and be told that I am loved and valued, feel a sense of belonging, feel respected as in individual, feel that I am a priority in my partner’s life, feel desired and feel that my partner is proud to call me his own. I like to be remembered with calls and acknowledgments when we are apart and have a partner that will plan and structure his activities to include me. In any relationship I believe in being upfront and forthright, I don’t have time for games. I need a partner that will stand by me in times of distress and I need to know that he is a soft place to fall when times are tough.
I have a good level of self-esteem, sense of self and a sense of accomplishment. Family is very important to me, but their expectations do not strongly influence my life. I have very strong family values and value the company of family-members, domestic life and enjoy maintaining a tidy home. I enjoy spending time with my children and work hard to be a good mom. I have a strong sense of control over my own life and am decisive in managing it. I’ve had to learn hard lessons the hard way time and time again and value the true friends I’ve made along the way.
I recently graduated with my Associate degree in Human Services and plan on continuing my education, to obtain my Bachelors degree in Social Work so that I can challenge injustice and enhance society. I love working with children and families and have a strong desire to help improve people's lives. I believe you can only achieve success through hard work, but I also know when and how to relax. And who knows maybe someday I’ll even have my own secret underground lair and private jet!!
