I'm a small-town southern boy who's just recently moved to a much larger city in order to find better career opportunities.
I'm laid-back, easy going, and good natured. I can be quiet at first, but once I get comfy, I'm told I can be quite funny. I'm a HUGE geek who's interested in all kinds of sci-fi and fantasy, my favorite medium being comic books, although I enjoy books and film and music as well.
I'm a family oriented person. I count my sister and cousin amongst my closest friends. I am a father of an eight year old daughter who lives several states away from me, whom I work very hard to provide for, though I don't see her as often as I'd like.
I'm equally at ease out and about having a beer or two with friends or staying in and watching a movie or curling up with a good book.
I'm looking for someone I can laugh with, and have thoughtful, intelligent conversations with.
