I know I'm unique, aside from my personality, I choose to not own a video game system, nor do I follow sports, though I like them, I'm just not one of those guys who knows EVERY players name. I do watch a football or a hockey game when I can, and sometimes the baseball world series. When I'm inside working in the kitchen on a nice day, I long to be outside. I may be somewhat of a computer nerd, but I love the outdoors. Backpacking with friends is my favorite, there's some serious determination behind backpacking. One time, my 2 friends and I backpacked in the pitch black with flashlights for nearly 2 hours to arrive to the camp destination. I do also like spending time inside with friends or family just watching a movie, watching t.v., playing video games, or a guys night playing cards.
Right now I work at Houlihan's Restaurant and Bar and whatever station in need, management sends me to. In a month I will be starting at a different restaurant as a Line Cook, I am very driven and am always looking to advance in my career and am confident I will be an asset even if I have to work someplace new in order to advance. Inside of a year I'm going to be part owner of a new restaurant and I'm helping to write out the business plan for it. I'm also enrolled in Star Career Academy, Culinary. I have only 4 months left of school and will be returning shortly to finish my schooling in professional cooking.
What's important to me in a partner is someone who is going to be my best friend. To be honest, looks aren't that important to me, it helps, what really matters to me is personality, intelligence, sincerity, sarcasm, and blatant honesty. I want someone with a fair balance of going out and staying in. I know what I want, know what I'm doing, and know where I'm going, I'd like someone who has those 3 knows.
I'm also sure to live by this quote, "My desire to be myself is greater than my desire to fit in."
