Okay so after another dark and lonely night of caressing my pillow I decided that the precious, long awaited moment for me to compose a beautiful, touching, passionate dating profile to meet the love of my life, (Or perhaps die miserable and alone) had finally arrived.
As I lay there in a state of frantic bewilderment trying to find the words a voice spoke to me through the darkness. "Tell them you are fun and outgoing" the powerful booming voice implored. So this morning I awoke with a renewed sense of hope and purpose as I sat down at the keyboard and prepared compose my profile and meet my date with destiny.
I decided to check out a few other profiles, certain that no other dating profiles would be as "fun and outgoing" as mine. Sadly with each click of the mouse a growing sense of despair intruded upon this magic moment. To my stunned amazement, roughly 95%of the profiles were written by people who were yes, "fun and outgoing" What to do? I pondered the situation gazing deeply and passionately at my navel hoping for some inspiration to arrive. I thought to myself, "One person's idea or fun could be another's idea of complete misery, fun is such a subjective word." "Does outgoing mean likes to talk/text anyone and everyone as she goes to the latest shoe sale at the mall? I struggled for words as all these deep thoughts flashed though my mind.
As I pondered weak and weary upon this midnight dreary, a bolt of sheer inspiration flashed down upon me. The most important qualities I look for in someone (The love of my life in other words are these: Intelligence, (Yes, there are different types not just book smarts, more on that in a second), Sense Of Humor, (taking like too seriously leads to a middle aged heart attack and even though the life insurance would be nice, I have found I can't be around people who take themselves too seriously for very long), creativity (someone who isn't only "fun and outgoing"), passion, (the ability to be passionate about something or someone), and most importantly uniqueness and originality.
Going back to intelligence though, knowing how to correctly use your, and you're in a sentence is always a big plus and there is nothing more annoying in my mind (huge pet peeves) than the words "Orientated" and "Hella" okay they really aren't words, but you get the idea, and if something like say The Real Housewives Of Wherever is your favorite show, we probably wouldn't end up being best pals.
Okay that's a done deal,I have this epic spiel that is the stuff of legends that I'm finishing writing to wrap this tedious profiliage composition. It involves a fountain, a ball and some navel gazing meaning of life drivel that encompasses and illustrates who I'm looking for.
I hope to meet some new people and have some most triumphant times together!!!
That way I can tell my mom I made some new imaginary friends online and she'll be really excited and think there's hope for me to move out of her basement yet. 
P.S. I will give special bonus prizes to the person who can compose me the longest love letter containing the words orientated and hella in each sentence.
