Hi Guys! Like most here, I'm looking for a mate...long term, not for just a hookup. My daughter's grown & married, I've paid for my house, looking for a guy to settle down with now for the BEST years of my life! I'm looking forward to also acquiring international residential, rental, or even possibly farm property, that's in a warm climate, to offer diversification, and possibly annual rental yield. Hopefully this can evolve into an offshore retirement residence down the road, which also opens up the possibility of dual residency in a warmer winter home. If you've ever had similar thoughts of exploring away from US soil as more than a tourist, we may be a match, if not, then we're probably of 2 different worlds, so to speak.
I've kinda become a Jane-of-all-trades over the years, everything from cutting down trees in the yard, to fixing computers. Friends tell me there's nothing I can't fix with duck tape & WD-40 LOL!
Kinda old fashioned, but with a new twist. I hate new cars - give me a 30 yr old classic anyday! I really appreciate older architecture in homes - you know the ones that were built with REAL hand hewn timbers, not all the cheap pressboard & flimsy 1 3/4 x 2 3/4 "2x4's" that makes up most of today's homes. I rarely watch TV, although enjoy documentaries & good movies that offer more than the boring "50 ways to kill somebody"
ANyway, I need a good common sense guy. Just as long as he doesn't mind that I DON'T "love to shop"!
