About Me

Hello fellow Charlotteans and surrounding,
I hate having to write who I am and what I am looking for. I feel like I have to compact so many variables into a nice, little box.

About Me:
I am 36, long divorced, no kids, with two little dogs. I am a religious person and anyone who I would become friends or more with must also be a religious person BUT religious tolerance is a must. I have absolute respect for all people of all faith's and will not tolerate someone who feels that their beliefs are the only beliefs. Politically: I am Independent. I vote both ways, depending on who I feel is the best person for the position. Example: I LOVED Pat McCrory as Mayor of Charlotte - I HATE Pat McCrory as Governor of NC.

Who I Get Along With Best:
I think that is the best way of saying it: Who I Get Along With Best. This way, if you do not fit the nice, little box I describe below - do not take it negatively - we are just not compatible.

1. I am a professional person who pays her own bills and buys her own designer items - you must be too. I am not interested in anyone who does not carry their own weight.

2. I am not looking for a hookup. If that is what you are looking for at this point in your life - don't bother me.

3. All of the men who have stayed in my life on a long term basis (friends or otherwise) are successful business owners. They do their own thing, on their own time. This is the type of person who can keep my interest. I am old-school in that I still believe in the man being the head of the household or the person who a woman can look up to/get advice from. Whenever I hear woman stating that this view is outdated, my first thought is "What kind of loosers do you go out with?" I like a man who is older, wiser, more experienced, who can help me grow as a person to be better.

4. If you do not have a picture on your profile then please do not attempt to contact me. I am not interested in anyone who is trying to run around on a wife/girlfriend/special someone or who does not have the technology/intelligence to upload a picture online. This includes anyone whose profile picture is sideways or upside down - I will automatically delete any message you send to me.

5. I do have an age range of 36-55 but that is not an invitation to try to contact me if you look like you could be my grandfather - that is simply disgusting. I don't mean this in any type of rude way, but a real age breakdown would be: White Male 36-46, Black Male 36-55. Some people just age better than others, it's a genetic thing.

6. Non-Smoker, No Drugs. If you go out to the club every weekend then we are not a fit. My club days are gone, maybe on occasion. A nice wine bar or jazz club type of environment is my kind of thing. A place for grown people - not young, shake your booty type of places.

7. If you would consider yourself a redneck - we are not a fit. I am all for going to Nascar and other events at the speedway - if you are a member of the Speedway Club. If you are someone who would not socialize with the Speedway Club type of person - then we are not a fit. I like professional people.

8. If you do not own your own business, have an executive level position, or are an attorney - then we most likely will never be more than friends.
I need a man who is/has accomplished more than myself.
Someone who I can look up to, who I can turn to for advice on both personal and professional levels. Anyone may feel free to contact me, we may get along great as friends or just to chat with but as for eventually getting into a serious relationship - the above three things are the only situations which tend to fit with me.

I hope that nobody takes anything I have said negatively. I have simply stated the type of people I do and do not fit well with. Everyone has different likes and dislikes and things would go much smoother more often than not if everyone would be a little more honest when it comes to things like this.
