Friends have always been important to me, whether it's platonic or a long-term relationship. Over the years I've learned that it's better to go from friends to a relationship than it is stay friends after a bad relationship (am I making sense?).
I have an odd, dorky sense of humor and would prefer to be around people who understand it.
I bartend for a living, I'm also trying to get a particular "big kid" job (crossing those fingers!!  ). I have no desire whatsoever to financially or emotionally mooch off someone.
I enjoy the ritual of dating, even if it's completely platonic.
I'm not opposed to partying down, but I would rather do it with a partner, if only to keep my dumb-ass in line. I have some drinks from time to time, I currently don't 420 but have no problem with others who do so, granted that it's not bringing you down.

I'm interested in settling down in the next few years, but don't worry I'm not one to get ahead of myself. I've dated a few artsy women in the past but am more interested in solid, cool ladies than any of the flakes in the past.
Yes, I'm a real person. Please no cheating, heavy drug use. I would want both of us to value honesty and I have no problem admitting to some of the stupid stuff that I've done in the past.
