Moved to North Carolina October 5, 2014.
I'm a software developer and certified teacher of English as a foreign language. I'm delighted that there is more pinball here than in Atlanta, where I moved from. (Horrible place. Visiting is OK, but don't live there if you can avoid it.) I'm interested and conversant in many things, enough that one might call me a polymath. I like dogs and cats (and birds and reptiles). I'm more interested in meta-politics than politics, which I agree with Frank Zappa is the entertainment branch of industry. I like most music, not too much country or hip-hop, but there are occasional gems. Theatre is OK in small doses; I grew up in a theatre family and saw about 50 Broadway shows before I was 11 (I counted the Playbills), and that was a bit of an overdose from which I have not completely recovered. My sense of humor is desiccated as Death Valley in the summer, and probably offensive to most.
I vape, but there isn't an entry in the smoking section for that. Currently, I'm enjoying a mint/chocolate/clove blend with a hint of butterscotch.
I can never answer the "what you're looking for" question because how should I know? I don't have a laundry list or a human-sized hole in my psyche. I don't think that's how it works. I think that, realistically, first you meet people, and then you either like each other or you don't, and then you figure out what you are going to do with each other.
I don't really care much about skin color, age (within legality), or body type. I really don't know why I'm attracted to some women and not others. Let's talk and maybe meet and find out.
