Some basics:
I grew up in Pennsylvania. After school I moved to Boston for 12 years and I recently moved to Reston Virginia.
I'm a pretty simple guy. I believe you get what your work for. I look for honesty and integrity in my life and in those around me (ok I like to exaggerate when I tell stories.)
I grew up in a family of 6. Family is important to me and although I don't have kids now I definitely would like to have some sooner or later.
Religion:
I believe in God/Christ but not an anthropomorphic being with a white beard - that is too limited a conception.
Politics:
I'm not a fan of the political views buckets Match provides. I listed myself as conservative. That by no means indicates that I would stand to be in the same air space with most of the people on Fox News. I am "conservative" because I believe in personal freedom, small government, the Constitution, fiscal responsibility and common sense.
But more importantly:
I love exploring, traveling, hiking, camping, climbing, cooking and eating food and music. I'm up for almost anything once.
I really love music. Listening to music and making music (although I would not say I am a musician... I dabble.)
I am a people person. One of the great lessons I have learned in life is that everyone has something great to offer.
I am a dog person. Cats.. yeah they are ok I guess but meh.
Who am I looking for?
Someone who knows who they are and what they want. I think the most important qualities are: integrity, a sense of humor, a sense of curiosity / adventure. I don't want to put a ton of parameters around the one. You know it when you find it  .
