Well educated, inquisitive, USAF vet, published poet, amputee (Right leg below knee), stable health, enjoys writing, most music, photography, fine arts (I've been a Docent in an Art Museum). limited travel. Non drinker/non smoker. I am a widower since 02/09, and have one son who lives out of state. I've been down here for over 19 years now, which makes me a DamYankee, I guess. I am polite, courteous, and anjoy a good laugh. I like TV programs that teach me something, and I read voraciously on several subjects. Had you seen me (attempt to) dance before the amputation, you'd understand why I limit myself to slow dances now. Music? Start with Doo-wop and good old rock and roll, advance to classical, throw in a bit of jazz, some new age, and many other categories as well. As a DJ in American Forces Radio, I was required to play a mix, and mix 'em I did - all the way back to 1917's songs (the oldest I could find in our library, not counting classical).
You are inquisitive, in good spirits, and ready for a long-term relationship, well read, and have a wide variety of interests.
