The pair finished up their work, and walked back, seperating along the way; Alari deciding to take in the sights along the way. The one in particular he wanted to make a point to stop at was a certain shrine erected to pay homage to Urguha, one of the seven dieties of absolution. The seven known to be, by widespread worshipers as holiest of the holy. Even Daxus the destroyer himself proclaimed the seven to be infinitly supreme. Urguha was known to be a sea-fairing spirit, so his powers were water related, thus the shrine was made within proximity to a well-spring known by some to hold an ancient and occasionally noticeable power. A power known by few and shared by even fewer. Alari read about the shrine once in his childhood, but the text wasn't very clear, or did it acknowledge actual cases of experiences. Never-the-less he believed in the god, and had faith in the shrine.
He sat on the stone, carved meticuously into the shape of a bench, and stared at the statue of Urguha. What power, what might. Show me some magic, let me be the one to know you. Bring forth the water, the water eternal. I shall wield the wisdom of our relation with true humility and fielty. With a heart full of reverance, Alari knew that hi s faith in his beliefs were unbreakable. He stood and admired the stone monuments encircling the statue itself, and read some of the enscriptons, not knowing by who they were carved. "You shall know me, and you shall feal me. I will not faulter nor will I diminish."
He read for a few minutes, and ran back to his home, almost catching back up with Dervitor. Instead of joining his companions gathered in one of the common rooms, after dinner, he decided to go back to his room to read. Although his space wasn't really a room, he liked it better than the trainee barracks, where he spent three years of his life, practicing and studying for the trials. The rooms were seperated by chest high partitions, which allowed you to be seen while standing, but kept privacy while sleeping. In the rooms were also a wardrobe, an endtable, a rug, and a small bookcase in which you could put any books you wanted. In Alari's bookcase were all books he had brought from home. He layed down and read well into the night
