My family and friends call me "Neka." I'm a intellectual mind! I'm humble, self sufficient, self assured, reliable, understanding, determined, dedicated, loyal, a doting mother, a sister, a daughter, a aunt, and a leader. I stand alone and I accomplish things on my own. The greatest person I've ever met was "Mae Ruth Taylor" (my moms mother) who passed away May 18, 2006... She taught me how to be the best person I could be and to always love me first. I'm a single mother to my handsome 9 year-old son... I enjoy every moment of being a mother... It' the greatest feeling on earth to hear his voice, seeing him smile, helping him with his homework, and to see him progressing as a young male in a positive manner throughout life, etc... I'm a humble, easy going, intelligent, understanding, loyal, reliable, focus, dedicated, goal oriented, determined, giving, loving, and patient individual. I've been working since the age of 14. I've had to endure a lot of heartache in my life and took a lot of loses. I've been homeless, broke, and lost (mentally) at one point in my life. I'm still not content on the person I am now and still have to make it out a couple of trails and tribulations that I'm going through. I know that when everything is all said and done I appreciate all the times I had to: cry, fail, almost give up, struggle, was heart broken, depressed, suicidal, and on the verge of a breakdown... were/are the times I became stronger. "I APPRECIATE MY STRUGGLES!" I know that life is a journey and teaches us lessons throughout every aspect of living. "TO KNOW ME, IS TO LOVE ME" I work my a** off to provide for my son and give him the things that I've never had. I'm the type of person who?ll give someone the shirt off my back. People always seem to take me for granted. I realize that u really can't count on anyone in this crazy world. People are too caught on themselves, money, and material things now a days; they could care less about anyone else. I don?t have to say that I'm a real person, because real recognizes real.
