Summary
My name is Michael Beasley. I'm 20 years strong and trying to change my perspective on life. I've gone through many hardships and for a long time I let them get the best of me, but I've recently learned to cope and be thankful with everything I have. I am currently finishing a bid with the judicial system and I'm on probation until December 2011. However, thankfully that chapter in my life is over. My naturally demeanor is to find the good in the people. I believe that everyone deserves trust and compassion and even the lost can be saved.
Interests
//Music//
I'm currently drumming in a punk-metal band. I've been drumming since I was little and it runs in my family. I also play violin and viola. I quit symphonic orchestra my senior year because I was embarrassed, however, I have a deep respect and fondness for classical music. I also like to sing, although I'm rubbish at best. I try to surround myself with music, as I believe it can heal all wounds and just adds flavor to life.
//Gaming//
I grew up with a controller in my hands and never found time to put it down for long. I've been on sponsored teams and traveled to major events around the states. I was recently invited to be a contract gamer under Complexity Gaming in California, however, due to my probation restrictions I will have to wait to pursue this dream until a later date. I still remain as one of the most noted and respectable counter-strike players in the states. One of my long term goals is also to be a game designer for Blizzard Studios.
//Skating//
I'm nowhere near as good as my friends, but in the warmer months we take over the city. I skate Zero boards and it is one of my favorite hobbies. There is no better way to let go of all your problems and escape when your grinding a rail.
//Literature//
I am an avid writer, whether it stems from creative narrations, poetry, or song lyrics. Everyone has a story and sometimes we can lose a part of ourselves if we don't capture it somehow. Often times there are so many things I haven't been able to express in words that I can articulate through writing. This is probably one of my most neglected hobbies but I will be developing it more in time.
//Education//
As previously stated, I will be returning to college when my financial situation is properly handled. I guess by today's standards I was upper level student, however, I decided early on that school was a waste of time and so I made the mistake of not trying in school. Knowing what I do now, I will be taking advantage of it the next time around. More specifically I will be acquiring my double major in Computer Science and Visual Communications.
//Women//
What can I really say here? Oh the women in my life, what they've done to me. I've been with my fair share of females, from all walks of life and all I can say is I'm still looking for the one that can impress me and still stick around.
//Cars//
I have an unhealthy obsession with imports (ie. Fast and the Furious). So my prior cars have all been fast and modified and all my future cars will probably be done so, but with class.
What I'm looking for
A lot of time with women over the past few years has given me a pretty good notion of what I'm looking for. I want someone who is sexy and fun. Someone who is attractive and not afraid of their body and interested in trying new things in the bedroom or wherever. I want someone who is intellectually challenging or who can at least carry a conversation. I want someone who is independent but still shows interest in me and needs me on an emotional level. If you can't show an active interest, you shouldn't be with a person. lastly, I'm looking for a semi-commitment at least, assuming things go well. I've had flings, one night stands, and been there guy for the girl looking for a rebound and those days are over. I have a lot to offer and I'm looking for the same.
