I'm looking for someone that's really a lot like me: driven, has goals, and trying to make their life better... Not looking for someone that just talks themselves up, I'd like to think I'm pretty sharp and I won't fall for It. I've been a full time student for over a year now, very close to obtaining my Associates of Applied Science for Computer Aided Drafting and Design with a 4.0 GPA. I do aspire to obtain my Bachelors for Mechanical Engineering and Design but do not intend on four consecutive years of school. I'm really ready to get out of class and back to work. hopefully I'll be with a company that will invest in my education... Other than being in school, this past summer I completed an internship with Langley NASA Research Center. I got the opportunity to do some really neat things. No worries, not some nerdy know-it-all. I didn't really fit in at NASA because people of my intellect are not quite as socially acceptable. Many of them were like robots - I actually have a personality. I'm not easily offended, big on dirty jokes, and like to drink and play pool. I grew up in the country but I've been here in Virginia Beach for 13 years. I'm also a big animal lover. I have two rescue dogs and two chinchillas.
I do not live with my parents and I'm looking for someone else that doesn't either. two days after high school my mom said "I'm going home and you're not sink or swim". So I've just been swimming these last six years. The only family I have between here and Arkansas is my sister. not like it's a sob story, I'm just saying I enjoy my independence and I'm looking for someone who is equally or more so independent than I. I always seem to end up with the wrong guy and I am getting to that age in my life where I'm thinking about having kids. I think that being a good father is one of the most attractive qualities a man can have.... I don't expect to meet the love of my life on here, but it's a nice thought. Would like to have kids before 30 so I guess it's a good idea to start looking now. keep calm and don't be frightened, I'm not strictly on a mission to obtain baby batter. Lol. looking for loyalty respect and compassion. I feel that if I could find all those things in one man then everything else should kind of fall into place. Not sure what else to say... oh yeah, looks aren't everything but I'm by no means rough on the eyes. just couldn't get a photo up here, but if you hit me up and you seem interesting enough I'll shoot you a pic (finally got a pic up here but it's not a very good one). No dirty ones though I have enough pervs in my life. if you're just trying to hit it and quit it you're definitely barking up the wrong tree. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty good girl... No hit and run prospects, sex isn't something that I struggle with. Lots of volunteers, few worth my time. So if that didn't scare you off hit me up....
Okay so apparently my first try at being clear about what I do and don't want wasn't quite adequate enough... I'm not looking for a ready-made family... If you have a d*ck pic on your profile I'm not interested in you either. If you're not a fit and active person I'm definitely not interested. If you can't send me a message that displays the slightest bit of intelligence I am not interested. I finally just quit smoking cigarettes, so I'm definitely not looking for a smoker either.... Lastly I'm most interested in white guys, there may be a bit of flexibility... Not a racist thing it's an attraction thing sorry if you can't handle that.
I'm not some lonely depraved girl who's desperately searching for my one true love... I'm in no rush and I'm not going to settle for anything less than what I deserve. This is just a shot in the dark that I might be lucky enough to find someone who's worth my time. I like going out and I like having a good time, but that does not mean I don't have self-respect or sense of self-worth.
