Where I stand on the core compatibility factors...
MONEY: Status and wealth are not so important to me beyond providing what is needed and achieving some kind of financial independence. I am good with money, and I require someone who is financially responsible.
SEX: Sexual attraction is mental with me and it usually has to begin there if it is going to happen at all. A partner for me must be curious with a healthy sex drive and have minimal aversions to trying things. I cannot be with someone who witholds sex as leverage. I like a little mystique to a woman.
RELIGION: The only person less compatible with me than a religious zealot is someone who's narrow-mindedly anti-Christian. I have a drive for meaning, purpose, and I strive for something beyond "whatever feels good, do it."

The above five categories are necessary fundamentals, but my marriage taught me that you can be 100% compatible on them and still have inadequate chemistry.

Some people communicate love through words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service, or even through gifts. I am a physical touch person. This is not about sex. It's about, for example, sitting at a restaurant eating dinner with our feet touching under the table. That's very exciting and intimate to me.
