I am originally from Georgia and being from the south I was raised to be a southern gentleman, which means I will open the door for you, address your mother as mame and father as sir, and always treat you with respect as an equal. I will be the man you need when times are tough and the friend you’ll want to hang out with on the weekend. I don’t play games, am not much for small talk, and always try to be straight forward about who I am and what I want out of life. If you don’t like those qualities in a man, then I’m probably not the one for you.
Though I’m a little traditional, I am not afraid of trying new and different things. I have done most everything from Cheerleading and backpacking Mt. Kilimanjaro to being a counselor for at-risk kids and being an active alumnus in my fraternity. Yeah I was a cheerleader in college – yes cheerleaders are athletes! - and of all the sports I have ever participated in, cheerleading was by far the toughest. I mean if it got me on ESPN then it has to be a sport right?
I believe in God, the power of dreams, and the sanctity of college football (Go Dawgs!). I love my family and friends, and will always put them first. I think true stories make the best movies (Invincible, Rudy, Schindler’s List, Cinderella Man), music is universal, and that while relationships require some work, love shouldn’t. I also think the saying “Those who can’t do, teach” is ...um...wrong! I teach because I can and think others should have the same opportunities I have had. I can be a little quiet at first, but get to know me and I will surprise you.
