(a short story)
Long ago, in a place far away, there was a herd of animals living peacefully on a continent.
At times, they were preyed upon by predators and killers. Instinctively, they would all run away, run for their lives, hoping that they weren't the one lone beast pulled down by the fangs and claws of blood thirsty hunters.
It went on like that for many years, until one day, one of the members of the herd, an insignificant member at that, was tired of running, and stood and fought the attackers.
That action inspired the others to take a stand and fight, fight together.
The hunted outnumbered the hunters, and using that strength in numbers, they drove the hunters away.
From that day forward they learned that the only way to survive was to fight for the others in their herd as if they were fighting for their own lives.
And from that day on, the hunters learned what it felt like to be the hunted.
