Without the sarcastic humor that makes no sense, this reminds me of the random "topics" that I would throw up trying to get people to talk.

Mine failed but that's probably because I never tried very hard.

Speaking of fishing. I once ran back and forth returning fish to the lake ones that were going to the 'discard' pile I thought it was cool when the fish revived in the water and sat there looking at me for a few seconds before swimming off

Umm, lets see, just for say, future reference, um

how would you get skunk spray off?

I know the clothes would need to be burned, due to skunk spray and um, like, other stuff

Just wondering, ya

I've heard tomato juice, but, how do you get that and for how long do you soak, when you're doused and no one else around to help?

Seriously, I was just a breath away from this wonderful experience....

as far as your body, you need to find a male thats all sweeted up and rub all over him and then take a shower,,that will take your mind off the skunk smell..

Tomato juice is BS.

I am a retired animal control officer and here is what I have done in the past and it was recommended by a veterinarian.

Strip off your clothes and jump in the shower with woolite (hand washable detergent for delicate fabrics.)
Suds up from head to toe and let stand on your skin for as long as you can stand it, no less than 10 minutes better for 15 to 20 minutes. be careful of your eyes and your delicate parts rinse and dry off. The smell should be mostly gone.

This is great for cats and dogs as well.

ps
If you ever encounter a skunk stay calm and walk away. no sudden movement and no screaming, Just calmly walk away. A skunk wont spray you just because it see's you. It will only spray when it feels threatened.

My Sunday didn't start very well but has gotten better.
Lack of sleep is making me do some crazy typing, can be very entertaining, if taken with a little humor.

Vikings are falling behind

GO PAC GO

Anyone go deer hunting?
Anyone willing to admit if they went wolf hunting?
Were you successful?

Ugh, the Beach boys.

I used to like them, until I was pregnant, many years ago.

Ex kept playing one of their songs, can't remember which one.
So now I associate morning sickness/n/v with that song.

He always liked to play it, like several times a day, for days on end, and make me sick. I tried to fight it and get over it, nope, my mind just couldn't reprogram.

Anybody else have a song with memories attached?

I do know songs will bring back a point in my life that I listened to them and the feeling that I was feeling at that time. I even have playlists that where for different times in my life. I listen to songs differently then most and if I find one I like a lot I will listen to it over and over. Then add a few others in there tell I have another playlist.

I just finished a book called "love is a mix tape" by Rob Sheffield

He talks how he made tapes for every mood, party, road trip, walkman, radio, feeling.
Would make tapes for friends and girlfriends. It was his way of expression/communication.
Even made tapes for breaking up. Apparently you knew you broke up based on the tape?!

Each chapter starts with a playlist based on what the chapter is about.

Variety of music and bands, popular, one hit wonders and underground.

A few examples, maybe others have heard of them:

Pavement
Belly
L7
The Verlaines
Martha and the Vandellas
Big Star
Meat Puppets
Sugar

plus the popular:
Wham
B52's
Zepplin
Skynard
Beattles
Mama n Papa's
Prince
Blondie
REM
Beach Boys
ArethaFranklin

I know nothing about sports lol Now hobbies well I have a greenthumb. I can take a plant that is almost dead and bring it to a state that one would use to take pictures of for mag. or books etc. Then I either give it away or I make more of them lol breaking it apart only to start over again. I won a cruse I saw my houseplants growing in the wild. Came home and planted some into 4x4 crates I ended up with plants that where 10 x10 feet wide. Some ended up to the ceiling. I had it looking like a jungle. I got my cemical lic. but found out that the best way to get rid of bugs was with their natural preditors. Have interesting stories with that end of it lol. I was always looking for that unusual plant. The kind that most people never got to see except in a book.

When the price of fuel got to be to much I had to shut it down. It cost twice the amount to heat that greenhouse then my home. I gave them to two of my daughters. The oldest is good with plants she takes after me. The second is allergic to them. Third well I thought forsure they would all die. Have tried to give her some plenty of times and that is what happened. She rose to the ocation though and they are still alive. ( I did give her the easiest ones to grow ) Forth daughter well didn't give her any she moves to much. It is good to see my plants at their house. What was hardest to see was the first freze that took the ones that where left. It hurt!

Maybe someday when I can afford it I will move farther down south and have another jungle greenhouse

So does anyone else have a hobbie that they enjoy a lot? Tell us about it!

Football - how about go Viks! Better than last year. AP, keep it up, Ponder, shape it up.

I was lucky enough to be in Charlotte, NC, a couple weeks for work training, the Panthers first year. Left just before the first game. Had no clue it was a new team, bought a few t-shirts for ex-bil. He's a football fan, best present as he was working nights at KFAN at the time.

Plants, funny you should mention that. Had the same annual plants for several years. Kept moving them inside/outside during the seasons. This year, forgot to bring them in. Yup, up and died on me. My indoor plants seem to have good and bad years. Gee, I don't think it could be me, eh? lol

Final words, enjoy life NOW, never know what will happen in the next second/minute/hour.
Co worker had a stroke this morning before coming to work.

Baseball - Twins need help, what is the problem??

Mens Basketball - even with, what is it now 5-6 players injured, Wolves seem to be doing well, except for this last game, but that was close. Good to see Rubio on the side lines coaching.

Womens Basketball - good to see the Lynx representing MN so well, especially when our other sport teams were awful.

And of course, we can't forget HOCKEY, remember that from last season...
Not looking like there will be a season this year.

And for music lovers, doesn't look like the MN Orchestra will be having a season either.

Warm weather here for a few more days, anyone care to share outdoor plans?

Gal at work said they were heading for the cabin for Thanksgiving, going to finish raking leaves before it freezes. She asked me, do you know how hard it is to rake frozen leaves along the frozen lake shore? Sorry, have never had that opportunity, lol
