I just got in to Nebraska and I've gotten some strange looks...I asked where a farm store was, then at the gas station I wanted $20 in gas, she asked if I was gonna get it?????... The ladies at taco johns ...I handed her a $10 and left my hand hanging out the window.... That was odd to..wtf???

Well, most gas stations aren't prepay around here but some are after 6 pm. or something like that. And I'm a little confused about the arm window hanging moment, not sure what happened but it just sounds like crappy customer service. Nothing to sweat, we call this place the "Good Life" for a reason. I have many friends from Missouri that are now residents of Nebraska.

No not all city people are like that..im from Omaha and i know a lot of good people here and i know a lot of good people that live in small towns around omaha..I have lived in a few myself.....

It's just different, I freaked someone out yesterday. I tried to prepay at the gas station and he looked at me funny he was so confused.... I explained I was from Missouri and its was habbit to prepay.

I spent 8 years in Florida, moved back a year ago. I think the little 'burgs are a little clicky, but the bigger towns are 100 mph like any metropolis. IMHO
