Just curious, who wants to meet someone, and if all works out well, get married?
OR
Who wants to meet someone, and if all works out well, would be content to keep the relationship, just as it is?

There is absolutely zero reason for a man to get married any more.
If in the off chance I do.. there will be pre-nups up her wazzoo.
I take marriage very seriously... only will do it once if I ever find
a woman insane enough ( and rich ) to ask me to marry her.

I would get married again.... if it seemed right.... then again, I don't know that I have to be married to have a lifetime commitment to someone....
It's really not a dealbreaker for me. either way... not today, anyway....

Having married a woman who turned out to have an agenda and I was just an aid to her agenda. I lost more than I want to write. It has taken me 10 years to clean up the financial mess that has left me in near poverty because of this 'person'. And I am honest that I still have issues with what this mariage (my only one and last one) did to me. But at least I admit I have issues and I do work at resolving them.
Marriage is fine if you want kids, in your 20's or 40's or maybe early 40's. But once you reach you 50's. I see nothing but downsides to marriage.
And we have at least a 50 percent divorce rate. It would be higher but some cultures basically forebid divorce.
And some people are locked in a marriage for financial reasons. Or the old 'we stay together for the kids'. As soon as the kids are grown, time to get that long awaited divorce.
I have read that arranged marriages seem to work out the best for some reason. Maybe it is the cultures that do this.
As for me, iIWANT a long time companion wiht no expiration date. But I do not want to live with someone again. I like my space.
An actress once said 'People should not marry. They should buy houses near each other and visit'.
I agree with her.
Best relaitohips are those that you are close enough to go visit on a spur of the moment notice but when one or both of you needs space, then you each have your own home.
And as you get older, you get more set in your ways.
That is just life.

I'm not going to jump into anything fast. I am very open minded. I am not avoiding marriage and would walk down the aisle with a compatible woman.
